Privacy Policy

App activity and diagnostics. The app may record technical and usage events such as app launches, onboarding steps, selected mood, playback actions, timer actions, paywall views, the subscription product selected, purchase or restore status, notification-prompt actions, and error context. These events help us operate, understand, and improve the app. Moodrift does not record audio from your microphone or collect the contents of audio you play.

Device and service information. Firebase and Apple services may automatically process information such as an app-instance or installation identifier, device and operating-system information, app version, language, general network information including IP address, diagnostic information, and timestamps.

Notifications. If you allow notifications, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging process an APNs device token and a Firebase registration token so notifications can be delivered. The app subscribes enabled devices to a general broadcast topic. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple. We receive StoreKit information needed to display products and determine entitlement status, including product identifiers and verified transaction or subscription status. Apple processes your Apple Account and payment information; Moodrift does not receive your full payment-card details.

Local information. The app stores limited preferences on your device, including whether onboarding has been completed. Playback and free-session state may also be maintained while the app is running. You can remove locally stored information by deleting the app, subject to iOS and Apple backup behavior.

Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use it to answer and administer your request.

We process information to provide audio playback and app features; verify Premium access; process and restore subscriptions through Apple; deliver notifications you authorize; maintain security and reliability; diagnose errors; understand feature usage; improve Moodrift; respond to support and privacy requests; and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on applicable law, processing is based on performance of our agreement with you, your consent (including notification permission), our legitimate interests in operating and improving Moodrift, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw notification permission through iOS Settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already performed lawfully.

We do not sell or rent personal information and do not use it for third-party behavioral advertising. Information may be processed by:

• Apple, for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, subscription management, receipts, refunds, device services, and push notifications.
• Google Firebase, for Cloud Messaging and, where enabled, app analytics and related technical services.
• Professional advisers or public authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or establish and defend legal claims.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy documentation. Their systems may operate in countries other than yours.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and to complain to a competent data-protection authority. To make a request, email vmodzolevskii@gmail.com. Because Moodrift has no user accounts, we may be unable to identify data as belonging to you without sufficient technical information. We may ask for reasonable verification and may retain information where required by law.

You can control notification permission in iOS Settings, manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, and delete local app data by deleting Moodrift.
